About KreativHomes journey - how it all began and what we're doing to innovate future homes.

Nice to have you here! My name is Joao, and KreativHomes really started with a dream and vision, just like you for your but for your dream home right now.

Briefly, I'm originally from Lisbon, moved and lived in Toronto as a kid and eventually moved to Derby in 2004, where I still reside until now.
​
Since then I've studied Architectural Technology & Practice and graduated from the University of Derby.
This then led me into a career within the architecture industry, where throughout the years I was able to practice and develop my skills through a numerous amount of residential, commercial and industrial projects, that I'm grateful to have been involved in.
Lastly, by understanding buildings, design processes, UK regulations and much more, I was quickly able to combine my passion for design with 3D processes, in which I quickly began to take on the role for also, producing 3D architectural renderings for clients and leading me to starting KreativHomes in 2023. The mission since then has always been to provide innovative services and solutions for both architecture, construction and 3D visualisation industry.

About KreativHomes and the Company!
Born in December, 2023. KreativHomes is an Online Home Design Studio based in Derby, the heart of England.
​
Initially started as a hobby to help friends and family that were looking to renovate a house and needed home design ideas, floorplans, guidance on costs and what could be achievable within budget, and also, help with visualising their dream home in realistic 3D visuals and virtual tours. The word spread and we quickly began to get enquiries from different people across the UK.
We decided to develop our services and turn them into a business to help everyone with bespoke home designs, that proved to be enjoyable, hassle free, informative and helpful. Our mission is to provide affordable and fast turnround design services, that are completely online in comparison to traditional methods.
We have very high ambitions to keep on growing and innovating our services. In a short period of time we have now been involved in various projects Nationwide. Hope we can help you too!

What are the costs for your Kreativ Plan design services?We have an innovative way for this, a fixed price system that is extremely affordable starting only from £199. An all in one package in a click of a button! Our costs are based on the number of bedrooms for the existing property only, as we need to draw it up first to help us understand the structure as a whole. That's it! How you draw my house without visiting or seeing it?This one of the many beauties of our service. We use data that's available publicly like Google maps, Rightmove listings or estate agents' listings and look for previous planning permission submissions. For us to get started on your home design this is usually enough for the level of detail provided to give you design ideas (we aim for ~80% accuracy). However, if you already have a measured building survey completed, we can then use it and implement it into our software to draw up plans and bring your home into 3D using measurements provided from survey. Do you provide Planning Permission, Building Control or Construction Drawings?KreativHomes designs are an affordable, online and fast turnaround service that offers a quick starting point for you to visualise your residential project through 2D floorplans, 3D floorplans, 3D visualsation, 3D Walkthrough video and 3D virtual tours, to give you design ideas and to inform you of what's possible for your budget and ambitions. As we're completely online, we can only aim to achieve ~80% accuracy and for the above is not accurate enough. However, you now have a design and a clear vision of what's achievable, and you can also start to get quotes whether planning permission is required or if it's with permitted development.
